2026 Mini Makers Applications Now Open!

at the Algonquin Harvest Market 2026

The Algonquin Rotary Club is excited to once again feature our Mini Makers Market as part of the 2026 Algonquin Harvest Market on Saturday, October 3, 2026.

The Mini Makers Market gives young entrepreneurs ages 8–15 the opportunity to showcase and sell their own handmade creations in a fun, supportive community environment alongside the Harvest Market.

Each accepted Mini Maker will receive a 10′ × 10′ booth space for $50.

Vendor Guidelines

Mini Makers must be 8–15 years old.
All products must be handmade by the Mini Maker.
Reselling commercially manufactured or retail-purchased items is not permitted.
Food and beverage items are not eligible for the Mini Makers Market.
A parent or guardian must be present during the event.

Please note: Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance. Applications will be reviewed to help ensure a diverse selection of vendors and a high-quality marketplace.

Show Hours 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Rain or Shine

Vendor Setup 7:00 AM – 9:45 AM
All vendors must be fully set up and ready by 9:45 AM.

Tear Down 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Booths must remain open and staffed until 4:00 PM.

Mini Maker Booth Fee

$50 for a 10′ x 10′ space

Booth space is secured only after acceptance and full payment.

Important Note
A parent/guardian will need to be on-site during the Mini Maker’s Market at the Algonquin Rotary Harvest Market on Saturday, October 3, 2026. Sale hours are 10:00am – 4:00pm.

Mini Maker Application Timeline & Review Process

To ensure a balanced and high-quality market, applications are reviewed in scheduled rounds.

Application Reviews & Payment

Applications will be reviewed on the 1st and 15th of each month until all vendor spaces are filled. Accepted vendors will have 14 days from the date of acceptance to submit full payment.

Unpaid spaces after 14 days will be offered to vendors on the waitlist.

Final Application Deadline

All applications must be submitted by September 1, 2026.

Vendor Eligibility
The Algonquin Harvest Market is open to:

Artisans and hand crafters

Farmers and agricultural producers

Product-based vendors

Direct sales companies and service-based businesses may participate through sponsorship opportunities only.

To maintain variety and quality, category limits may apply.
Booth Requirements & Setup
Vendors must provide their own tent, tables, chairs, and display materials.

Electricity is not provided. Vendors requiring power must supply their own generator.

Booths must remain open and staffed for the full duration of the event.

Space assignments are determined by event organizers.

Special placement requests cannot be guaranteed.

Final setup instructions and arrival logistics will be sent prior to the event.
Fees and Payment Policy
Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance.

Vendors will receive email notification of acceptance or waitlist status.

Accepted vendors must submit full payment within 14 days to secure their space.

Booth space is confirmed only after full payment is received.

Returned checks and associated fees are the responsibility of the vendor.

Early Bird discounts apply only to approved vendors who meet the March 31, 2026 deadline.
Permits and Compliance
Food and beverage vendors are responsible for obtaining all required permits and licenses.

Copies of permits must be available for review by event organizers on the morning of the event.

Vendors must comply with all local, county, and state regulations.

Failure to comply with permit requirements may result in removal from the event without refund.
Communication
All vendor communication will primarily be conducted via email.

Vendors are responsible for:

Providing a valid email address

Monitoring email regularly for updates

Reviewing event instructions sent prior to the market

Important event details, setup logistics, and reminders will be distributed as the event approaches.
